The Multiport is an instrument used in Ori-Derm to determine the sun protection factor (SPF) of a cosmetic product by producing UVA or UVA+UVB rays from its 6 individual port outputs. The intensity of light from each output is adjusted individually to provide the capability to deliver different doses of UV to be assessed.
All SPF studies in Ori-Derm using this instrument are performed in accordance with the international testing standard ISO_24444.
