The DynaSKIN is an instrument used in Ori-Derm to measure the firmness of the skin. It functions by gently blowing air perpendicular to the surface of the skin. This is captured by a camera and allows us to evaluate the depth of the skin deformation created by the air. It is used in conjunction with the DermaTOP instrument whereby the computer then translates the information into a high-definition, 3D map of the skin’s surface. It allows us to accurately measure the effects of cosmetic products on a scientifically visual scale, far beyond the capabilities of the naked eye.
